Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Happy July 4th my friends!  We're having a fabulous Independence Day.  I started the day with a three mile run and then Ryan, Collin, Marcel and I went down to the local river for a five mile canoe ride followed by lunch.  Canoeing isn't comfortable for Pat's back and Jonathon was working.  We missed having them with us, but it was so nice out.  Sunny but also shady as we cruised along. I hope that you are relaxing with your families today too!

But...I think you are here for a card. It is July and I have not made a single Christmas card until this weekend...so time to get moving. I made multiples of this one and need your opinion...twine or no twine?  Please cast your votes in the comments!
Without twine?  What do you think? :)

I so appreciate the two challenges going on for Christmas in July at Merry Monday and Happy Little Stampers. Thanks so much for inspiring me to get moving on my Christmas cards!  I'll be back on Thursday with another Christmas card.

  1. Yes to the twine. :) I like how you used multiple colors for the sentiment - it adds a lot to the card.

  2. Greetings from Greece! Your day sounds perfect and very active! Well I say no twine, it looks more classic without it and less fussy.....and easier to do lots!

  8. Without the twine is less bulky for mailing but I personally love how the twine makes your design pop! So lovely!

  11. I vote Twine as it makes the focal image colours pop, but a bit bulkier for mailing.

  12. This is such a CAS Christmas card, Lynn, and I vote no twine. It looks great but like the others said, it is more difficult to mail.
